As this programming continues to grow, we’re expanding our offerings to better meet the real-world needs of live event professionals. In addition to mental health counseling and coaching, we now offer Financial Coaching, with plans to continue broadening into more holistic and integrative practices in the years ahead.

This work is only possible because of a strong, dedicated network of clinicians and coaches who lead with heart, integrity, and expertise, delivering meaningful support and practical resources to an industry that truly needs it.

Therapists have a duty to report in certain situations to protect individuals and the community. By understanding and appropriately handling the duty to report, therapists can protect their clients and the broader community while maintaining professional and ethical standards. 


Here are key points therapists should acknowledge about this duty:


Confidentiality vs. Duty to Report:Confidentiality:


Therapists are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of client information.


Duty to Report

There are specific circumstances where therapists must breach confidentiality to protect individuals or the public.


Mandatory Reporting Situations


Child Abuse or Neglect:

Therapists must report any suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities.This includes physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.


Elder or Vulnerable Adult Abuse:

Similar to child abuse, therapists must report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of elderly or vulnerable adults.


Threats of Harm to Self or Others:

If a client expresses a serious intent to harm themselves or others, therapists must take steps to report and prevent the harm.This can include contacting law enforcement or other emergency services.


Court Orders:

Therapists may be required to disclose information in response to a court order or subpoena.
