CAREER ESSENTIALS 2
Mental Health QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer
What do you do when you notice that someone you work with just doesn't seem like themselves?
QPR is a practical suicide-prevention training that gives you the tools to recognize warning signs, start a direct conversation, and help connect someone to support. Facilitated by Middle Tennessee State University, this two-hour session will walk participants through Question, Persuade, Refer—three simple steps that can help you respond when someone may be struggling.
As part of the Reboot & Refresh: Career Essentials Lab, we’re excited to offer a special pre-event opportunity in collaboration with ECCHO Live Workshop and Middle Tennessee State University.Participants will learn how to recognize signs of concern, ask difficult questions directly and compassionately, listen without judgment, and connect someone with appropriate professional and crisis resources.
This is not therapy or a clinical training. It is about building the confidence to notice, ask, listen, and help.
